The Utah County Beekeepers Association occasionally offers classes for all interested parties. Below you will find information on upcoming classes.
| Beginners Class - open to all interested parties | ||||||||
| Dates: | February 27th, March 13th and March 27th (class is ALL three dates) | |||||||
| Times: | 9:30am - 4:30pm each day, there will be one hour for lunch. | |||||||
| Location: | Blendtec lunchroom, 1206 South 1680 West, Orem. | |||||||
| RSVP by: | February 14th, 2010. | |||||||
| Items you need to supply: | You will need a helmet/veil by the March 27th portion of the class as it will be in apiary. | |||||||
| Cost: | $40 per person or $60 per couple. (includes membership and a t-shirt) | |||||||
| Intermediate Class - open to all interested but geared toward the beekeeper with at least 1 year behind them. | ||||||||
| Dates: | May 1st, 15th and 29th (class is ALL three dates). | |||||||
| Times: | 9:30am to 4:00pm (with a one hour lunch break) | |||||||
| Location: | Blendtec lunchroom, 1206 South 1680 West, Orem. | |||||||
| RSVP by: | April 11th. | |||||||
| Items you need to supply: | You will need a helmet/veil and other safety gear as we will be in apiary for at least two of the dates. | |||||||
